My Story For Photography
With a photo you can capture a moment and have it forever. I think we take that idea for granted with photography being so ubiquitous these days. But seriously, just take a second to appreciate that. If you captured a memory like that in Ancient Greece, they’d call you a sorcerer. Or a god. Nothing inspires me more than producing an authentic image that captures the true nature of my subject. Photos are lasting; they are a window to really what see a person looks like, their personality, their life.
The world is chock-full of stunning places and astounding views. When you vacation to one of these stunning places, you are entitled to beautiful sunsets, exquisite food, and boundless groups of unique people. So, why not capture the moment by taking a wholesome photograph of it. Take a picture of the swell people you meet, the enticing foods you eat, and the prodigious places you visit. Wherever I go, for travel, school, or leisure, I always have a camera on hand, whether by a professional camera or even just my phone. This way when I come across a picture worth taking that is full of inspiration or a story, I am able to use one of these tools to take it and not forget the moment behind it. Every picture I take, when I look at it subsequently, I am able to trace back a story or inspiration and that is really what a picture is meant to do. It is meant to capture a moment or time that you want to be remembered. Ever wonder why your parents are always annoyingly taking photos of you all the time? That is because they want to capture the moment and bring it back to life one day when they look back at it. That is why I take pictures, in order to capture a special moment in my life and to be able to circle back to it one day.
